Stop trying to peek in our window Matt.
The very presence of Justgiving Towers makes our neighbourhood a fashionable one, but this week our surrounding streets have been unusually cluttered with cameras, cables, booms, grips and film crews hugging steaming mugs of char.
We briefly wondered whether Hollywood decamping to our doorstep signalled a bidding war for the rights to Justgiving : The Movie, but then we found Matt Damon hiding in our stationery cupboard.
Ok, he wasn’t actually in our stationery cupboard, but we’d be happy for him to use it if he was looking for a hiding place from the assembled cops, feds and Interpol agents currently hot on his trail.
Matt, you see, is filming the latest of his ‘Bourne’ espionage thrillers, The Bourne Ultimatum. Matt’s indefatigable rogue agent Jason Bourne is still on the trail of his true identity having outfoxed and outgunned any number of despairing FBI agents in 2002′s The Bourne Identity and 2004′s The Bourne Supremacy.
The new movie sees Jason travel to Moscow, Paris, Madrid, Tangier, New York City and…evidently…around the corner from JG Towers, London, where the massed ranks of film crews are currently shooting his daredevil antics.
Matt – if you’re reading this – our stationery cupboard is well comfy and you’re very welcome to it.
