Three months ago, we gave you the ability to make donations on Justgiving using PayPal, the most popular online payment service. PayPal integration was something that lots of users had requested and since the launch uptake has been fantastic. We’re really happy to offer even more choice and the ability to complete your donation payment in just a few clicks. Nearly 10% of donations on Justgiving are now being made with PayPal.

Allowing more choice to our users is already great news for charities, but PayPal has also promoted charity donations to its users – with 20 million customer accounts, that could have a great impact. This week they sent out an email about PayPal, Justgiving and fundraising for the London Marathon. We’re really thrilled that they are helping to promote the creation of fundraising pages, donations and all the charities on the site. If you got that email, we hope you liked it too!
More good news – from Monday 20th April 2009 onwards, PayPal is giving away £10,000 a week, every week, for six weeks – so every time you use PayPal, you’ll be entered into the draw to win.
