Dear Zarine,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts via the internet. There are many people and cultures across the world who can not access the internet and the divide between rich and poor remains as cruel as it has ever been. It's hard to see how much the internet will change this.

It is something to hope for though. In that I certainly share your view. God Bless your efforts to encourage innovation and non-compliance with an unbalanced world.

Let us focus on people, it's what Jesus asked us of us. "Love your neighbour as yourself"

All the very best, John

Have just finished a Kayak trip raising funds for Roy Castle Cancer Org and have kayaked from Adlantic to Med' travelling across France via the canals, best known being Canal Du Midi, and navigated arround The Thau. The French people were enthralled with my trip and I seemed to known, and made a fuss of everywhere, finding myself inthe papers and on the canal website. I am now really hoping the donations will come pouring in. I have a blog called meanderingmal which can be got onto by using the Google seach engine. The people who have followed it have said it is great, can relate themselves and their emotions to the events within the passage which I have completed, and that it is like reading a book. Its been inspirational to me and between my blog, the log of the trip, and the hundreds of photographs I have, I am going to write a book. I hope people can be made aware of my blog and I feel sure my target will be met, and I hope exceeded. The full blog address is meanderingmal@ blogspot.com but can be be accessed by simply going into the google box and putting in meanderingmal Determined to hit my target. meanderingmal alias malcolm

Just googling my name (not many of us around with the 'ley' spelling) and found your story. A great effort and congratulations on your determination. Don't like cold water myself, but I share your concern for the environment and enjoy dolphin watching. You will find an environmental slide show I posted on sweatherley if you search utube; just in case you thought you were the only Steve Weatherley on this planet.
Good luck with future ventures.
